Wipe the lining with a damp cloth. Lift the floor tray out to empty and rinse it rather than mopping inside the tent. Let the fabric dry fully before folding it away, or it will hold a smell.

The bigger tent, with room to stand beside the grow.
Same 600D Oxford fabric and reflective lining as the 1.2m, half a metre wider each way.
The same tent as the 1.2m in every respect except footprint: 1.5m square instead of 1.2m, and the same 2m height.
Half a metre each way sounds small on paper and is the difference between reaching into a grow and standing beside it.
Everything said about the 1.2m tent applies here: 600D Oxford fabric on a powder coated steel frame, a Mylar lining in the region of 95 to 98 percent reflective, five vent ports, two mesh intakes at floor level, two cord ports and a removable floor tray.
The difference is working room. At 1.2m square you reach into the tent. At 1.5m you can get beside what is in it, which matters at planting and harvest and matters more when something has gone wrong and needs fixing.
It also gives you room to run a second light or keep a propagation tray to one side of the main system rather than in another room.
Our 36 cup kit is 98 x 108 cm at the base, so this is the size that gives it usable space around it. The 108 cup system is 140 cm wide and is designed to stand in a room rather than in a tent of either size.

Only in footprint. It is 1.5m square instead of 1.2m, at the same 2m height. The fabric, frame, lining, ports, doors, support bars and floor tray are the same on both.
IS THE EXTRA HALF METRE WORTH IT?
It is the difference between reaching into the tent and standing beside what is in it. That matters at planting and harvest, and it matters a lot more when a pump has failed and you are trying to get to it.
WHAT SIZE IS IT EXACTLY?
1.5m wide, 1.5m deep and 2m tall.
WILL THE 36 CUP HYDROPONIC KIT FIT?
Yes, with room to work around it. The kit is 98 x 108 cm at the base, so in a 1.5m square tent you have space on the sides rather than a system wedged corner to corner.
WILL THE 108 CUP SYSTEM FIT?
No. It is 140 cm wide, which leaves nothing at the sides and no way to get to it. That system is designed to stand in a room.
IS ANYTHING INCLUDED BESIDES THE TENT?
No. Lights, fans, ducting, filters and the growing system itself are separate.
WHAT IS IT MADE FROM?
600D Oxford fabric, double stitched, over a powder coated steel frame with heavy duty PP corner connectors, lined with reflective Mylar.
HOW REFLECTIVE IS THE LINING?
The supplier states 95 to 98 percent. The practical effect is that light which a plain wall would absorb gets returned towards the plants.
DOES IT LEAK LIGHT?
It is built not to, with double stitching and a wide flap inside the zip. A well zipped tent in a dark room shows very little.
HOW MANY PORTS ARE THERE?
Five vent ports, two micro mesh intakes at ground level and two cord ports.
DO I NEED A FAN?
For most grows, yes. A closed tent with a light running gets warm and the air goes stale. Extraction from the top with cool air coming in at the low mesh ports is the standard arrangement.
CAN I RUN TWO LIGHTS IN IT?
There is room to at this size, and the three support bars will take them. Whether you should depends on the crop and on how much heat you are prepared to extract.
CAN I RUN TWO SYSTEMS IN IT?
Two smaller systems, yes. The limit is usually access rather than floor area: leave yourself a way to reach both.
HOW DIFFICULT IS IT TO BUILD?
No tools needed. The frame poles push into the corner connectors and the fabric goes over. A second pair of hands helps at this size more than it does on the 1.2m.
WHAT IS THE FLOOR TRAY FOR?
Catching spills. A reservoir that overflows would otherwise go straight onto your floor. The tray lifts out to empty and rinse.
CAN I PUT IT ON CARPET?
Yes, and the tray is what makes that reasonable. Something under the whole tent is still worth it if the carpet matters, since the tray catches what lands inside the tent rather than what runs out of a door.
HOW MUCH USABLE HEIGHT IS THERE?
Two metres to the top of the frame, less what your light and its hangers take. Allow 30 to 40 cm at the top when you are working out how tall your plants can grow.
HOW DO I CLEAN IT?
Damp cloth on the lining, take the tray out to rinse. Dry it fully before folding it away or it will smell when you next open it.
CAN I USE IT OUTSIDE?
No. The fabric is not made for weather and a 2m tall lightweight frame outdoors will eventually be blown over.
DOES IT CONTROL SMELL?
The fabric holds a lot in by itself, but extraction through a carbon filter is what actually does that job. Neither the fan nor the filter is included here.
WHAT LIGHT SUITS THIS SIZE?
Something that covers a 1.5m square evenly rather than one bright point in the centre. Our LED grow light strips link in a series, which makes even coverage across a square footprint straightforward to lay out.
HOW HOT WILL IT GET?
That is down to your light and your ventilation rather than the tent. LEDs run cooler than older lighting and extraction makes far more difference than the fabric does.
IS THE FRAME STRONG ENOUGH FOR A CARBON FILTER?
The bars are meant for lights and fans. A carbon filter is heavier than both, so check its weight before hanging it and consider supporting a large one from the floor.
IS THERE A WAY TO CHECK THE PLANTS WITHOUT OPENING IT UP?
It has double side view panels and three zipped doors, so you can look in without unzipping the front. Opening a panel with the light on lets light out as well.
CAN I TAKE IT DOWN AND STORE IT?
Yes, the frame comes apart and the fabric folds. Dry it first.
WHY DOES IT SHARE A SKU WITH THE 1.2M?
Because the live store gave both sizes the same code. We have split them onto separate pages here so an order line names the size, and the code itself is being reviewed. If you order, the size on your confirmation is the size we send.
WHAT ARE THE CORD PORTS FOR?
Running power and control cables in without leaving a zip open. Two is enough for a light and a pump, with the fan usually going through a vent port.
IS IT WATERPROOF INSIDE?
Treat it as splash tolerant with a tray underneath rather than as a sealed vessel.

What changes is the half metre each way.
Why that half metre is the whole decision
At 1.2m square you reach into the tent. At 1.5m you can get beside what is in it.
That sounds like a small thing until you are trying to lift a full reservoir out
from behind a planted system, or find the joint that has started dripping, or
harvest the back row without leaning across the front one. The extra space is
mostly working space, and working space is what people who buy the smaller tent
first tend to say they wish they had bought.
It also lets you run a second light or keep a propagation tray off to one side
rather than in another room.
Sizing it to a system

around it. In the 1.2m it fits, but only just.
The 108 cup system is 140 cm wide and will not go in either tent with room to
