Where our reviews live, and how to leave one
Reviews are how the next person decides whether to trust us, so we would rather have honest ones than flattering ones.
Leaving a review
If your order went well, the 4 to 5 star page has the links to do that publicly, and it takes a minute.
If it did not go well, please use the 1 to 3 star page instead. It carries a short form that comes straight to the team. We would much rather fix the problem than read about it later, and there is no version of that page that tries to talk you out of leaving the review afterwards.
What we do not do
You will not find a star rating, a review count or a customer quote anywhere on this site that we cannot show you the source of. Where a product page has no real review data behind it, the reviews section renders nothing at all rather than filling the space with something invented.
That is deliberate. A five star average assembled from nowhere is worth less than no average, and it is the sort of thing that is very hard to walk back.
Other feedback
Reviews are not the only useful kind. Photographs of a system running, questions we should have answered on a product page, a specification that turned out to be wrong, or a step in an assembly that took longer than it should have: all of that is worth more to us than a star rating.
